86 s-10 blazer hatch noise
 

I've tried everything - except what works, I guess. I can't get rid of the squeak and rattle. It's a daily driver, so I need the hatch functional. I've tried lube, adjusting, replacement of all parts, adjustment (again) and everything under the sun.

Does anyone know the miracle cure?

If there is a cure I haven't found it.My 91 is the same....welcome to the wonderful world of blazer ownership :(

I had two first gen blazers. Never could get them to stop either...

Thank you sir. I've been driving this since '94 and thought I had tried everything. I got at least 2 good suggestions I hadn't tried yet. Thanks again for the info.
