NO NO NO , you want new, buy new, I just cannot see jackin with somthing that is right , yeah I like the looks of the later model chevy trucks, but I also like the looks of the early models too, the two dont mix, in my opinion.....

:barf: some of these conversion and "retro" kits are horrific. i mean its ok if you do all of the custom modifications your self, but the fact that they have kits to turn the 87+ trucks into 60's models and kits like this one to turn a classic into something that looks newer just kinda irritates me. that b&m shifter looks like the zgate that i put in the abomination

It wouldn't be the worst thing i've ever seen if the interior didn't suck so bad, give me a break.

Hmmmm... personally I think it's bad enough guys are sticking newer style beds on the older trucks...

That front end looks cheezed and that's not because I think they did a bad job. It looks clean and looks like a lot of work went into it.

I just don't think the newer style front end complements the lines of the '67-'72 design.

It's hard to improve on perfection... I think anyway...

Thinking about changing the look of your stepper Rick?

If you're gonna do that much work on a truck(I wouldn't do it that way) you should at least fix the driprail. The truck looks Ok for a driver but why let the rust run down the windsheild and spoil the effect you were going for.

Aw Jeez!!

Why is it these trucks are so fixated on that someone would want to use it mindlessly to try to make something it isn`t? I mean,I drive them because I like them.We all like them and we change them in our own ways. But we don`t try to turn it into a modern-looking truck.I like and drive newer GM trucks, too! Don`t we like these because they "don`t" look like new trucks????????

<< Post a link.I want to see if there`s any pictures showing if it has coils or other clues >>

EDIT!!!.........

 Shoulda put an E-lade nose on it

:agree:

I don't think it looks bad, but not what I would do.

Amen to that!! This one looks like crap to me...especially the 'high mount' shifter.

I'm not gonna lie, I think it looks badass.

What I don't like/would change.

Interior is just... YUK!

I hate those damn step beds, once again the fender's don't match!!!!

I'd put a 67-72 fleet on it and graft the 99+ fender wells onto it.

Mirrors are fugly and need to go.

Didn't someone else do this too? I think it was black and looked A LOT better than this one?

Also, was this a northeast truck??? People tend to experiment a lot more when they realize the project truck they bought was a rusted out piece of ****.

Next thing ya know, people will start getting plastic surgery to look like Rosie O'donnel.

Edit: I just noticed the Tweety Bird sticker. That really pulls it together.

http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...cks/index.html

Read the above article...the design of our trucks make them the Gustav's, the Vincent van Gogh's, the Pablo Picasso's, the Michelangelo's, the Jean-Francois Millet's, the Claude Oscar Monet's, the Raphael's, or the Leonardo De Vinci's of Iconic truck design. Why mess with artistic perfection. Ok...you all have gotten my point. JMHO!
