What does it say on the tires? I'd guess somewhere between 35-40psi.

What is says on the tires is the max pressure you can run them at. I am looking to see what Blazer owners usually do for this tire.

My tires say max pressure is 80psi (235/85r16) but I run them at 40. 80ps i makes a rough ride, 35 seems a bit soft. I confirmed with 2 tire stores and both said 40 is good.

Air pressure in the tires makes a big difference in the ride for me. I run 'em around 32 unless I'm going for better mileage (ha!) then I run closer to 40 (max on my BFG's if I recall correctly) Ditching the stiff shocks for something softer would probably help my ride too.

What size BFG's are you running? Mine are BFG's too, but they are "E" load rating (the only rating for the size of tires.)

Whatever it takes to get even tire wear.

Too much pressure and you'll clean the centers right off,. too little wears the outside and will handle like poo.

Read your side walls and start with the manufacturers recommended #s.

I don't have a lot of miles on my 31x10.50s BFGs, but I'm running 32psi front and 28psi rear. This is also what I ran in my old 30x9.50 BFGs with good results.

Exactly, every different tire and rim package will be a a little different on what pressure wears the best. In my experience most tires like around 32-38 psi. Generally, I inflate the tires on cars that I work on to the max setting as most people don't check their air pressure. At Les Schwab we set at 35 psi on most tires for maximum tread life, unless rated higher such as a load range D or E. Thats what they told me anyways. but on the other hand when I started as a mechanic at the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealer we set psi by the model. Crown Vic got 35, and the Lincoln's town car were factory recommended as low as 28 psi for a nice cushy ride. it's all personal preference really. I run my 72 blazer at 32 psi on it's 33x10.50x15, my 67 gto radial t/a's 235/60/15 at 35psi, and my 1979 ford f250 at 70psi on 235/85/16 load range E's.

Over the last 24 years I've found that my K-5 handels and rides best with 45 in the front and 35 in the back. I have lowered it to 40 front and 30 rear, but found myself not liking how it cornered. I figured since most of the weight was up front the tires needed more up there. I currently run 235/75r16 coopper AWT's Load range E. The ride is fine at that pressure because of the sidewall strength. Having the "E" range I can then pack the rear tires to 50-60 (or more) for pulling a trailer, eliminating any sway.
