My '72 C10...

Hey guys...it's been a few years since I was active on the board...spent a TON of time on here when I first inherited my truck from my grandfather...and since that time, it's spent most of it's time under a cover. As a matter a fact, I probably haven't uncovered it and started it in almost a year! Yikes! I was not looking forward to what I was going to find when I got it out...a quick charge on the battery and it started right up and drove like a top like the day I parked it. Just got a dieseling problem, and the gas gauge doesn't register right...but otherwise a great machine...now, got to convince my 14 year old that he DOES want it. Took some pics to share with you guys...thanks for looking.

'72 C10, LWB, 3 on the tree, original 250 w/103,000 mi.

That is one sharp survivor.I would take it in a heartbeat.Get the boy a Honda and keep that one for yourself. You have a family history and a grweat looking truck.Sad to say most young drivers do not take care of their first car unless they are gearheads and if he was he would want that truck.

That's a beauty. If was going to give that to my son, I would make sure it had power steering and power brakes, and it would be a little more appealing for him to drive.

Nice truck! You know I seen it many times, not only with trucks, But with cars(Impala's 55' Camero's Ect.....) If A kid's heart's not in to it,It won't work out, It will never be cared for the way you think it should, Sad but true.

Who needs power steering and brakes? I feel all kids should learn to drive without all the perks and with a stick. Makes them apriciate it more when they do get a vehicle with a few extras. Its sad how many adults cant drive a stick!!

Kids always wreck their first car, don't give it to him.
