Optimas in the cold?
I've got an optima battery in the '72 (which is covered outdoors for the winter :whine: ) and temperatures at night now are around -20 degrees. Will an optima freeze and go bad like a traditional battery would, or will it be ok left in the truck? Thanks much.

if you're worried about it, why don't you just get a battery blanket for it or surround it with fiberglass insulation for the winter. It will help it from freezing. I ran my 72 for a couple winters and I wrapped a battery blanket around it just to ease on the starting in -50 weather up here
