What else was needed if you bought it aside from a air compressor?

how did it work?
what media are you using on normal parts such as control arms etc.

I have one. It's decent, and has worked for me. You'll want a dryer, and probably some kind of dust removal. (I've just been using a shop vac) -- The instructions say not to use aggressive media like aluminum oxide (Go figure!) I've just been using sand (Gasp! I know, I know)

I have one, but like ^ said a good dryer, and some kind of dust removal. I went to TSC and bought there black diamond balst sand, not suppost to be as bad as regualr sand. but does a fairly decent job for the money spent.

I bought mine from these guys and have been very happy with it.

I also do firearm refinishing so I use aluminum oxide and have had no problems.

I'm glad to hear that. I may have to give it a go myself.

I have a 20 yr old Snap-on blast cabinet. It came with a vacuum device, and I have a dryer on the line going into it. I have tried aluminium oxide, and like medium coarse glass beads best ( less dust ) . works on most all thing that will fit into the box.
