floor replacement

I am thinking about replacing my floor, rockers, and floor supports and was wondering the best way to do it. I have the cab off the frame and am going to have it sandblasted soon. Is there a certain order that I should go in or does it matter? Also, I am thinking about getting a flaming river steering column and was wondering if any one has done this. I was wondering about the length that I need. Thanks for any help.

I never did a complete floor, but if you buy replacement panels you should be able to tell which way they should go in by reversing the order for you to cut the old out. Be very careful when welding in the new metal. Take plenty of initial measurements. I heard of a guy that replaced the floor and rockers and couldn't get the door shut. He had to cut it back out and reweld.
