Innovative Radiator Overflow--Watcha got?
Would like to see some ratty excuses for a radiator overflow. Bottles, cans, jugs (gigity). Anything but lame white plastic out of a late model sedan. I've got nothing now except for the asphalt and I'm not as ingenious as most of you are. Thanks!

One of the truck mags. had a picture of a guy that used an aluminum drink bottle (the kind used by back packers) looked good polished.

Re: Innovative Radiator Overflow--Watcha got?

Re: Innovative Radiator Overflow--Watcha got?
I have no idea if it's required or not. I would suspect with all the hippies and tree huggers, that it's a law in some states. Not a bad idea I suspect.
DT1.....too innovative. |

Re: Innovative Radiator Overflow--Watcha got?
i used a jose cuervo tequila bottle mounted to the center grill/ hood hinge support. i dont have a pic right now, but is unique i guess, haha! its been there for about 4 years now it has not ever broke or any thing

Re: Innovative Radiator Overflow--Watcha got?
Some people use a window washer bottle mounted on the opposite side of the original one.
Most auto parts stores have a large capacity universal one that can be used, it is not unique, but will work. There was a thread on here a year or so about this subject. Danny |

AFCO sells a nice sized aluminum recovery tank. I have one on my '72 GMC 4X4.
