Adams wax vs. Zymol

For several years I've wondered about several brands of wax including Adams wax and Zymol wax. Recently, I ran out of the brand that I had been using for years and decided to spend some money on these brands. I thoroughly washed my truck and afterwards took a clay bar to it. Then I rubbed both waxes on the hood placing Adam's Wax on the left and Zymol Wax on the right. I only did one coat for each side, buffed it out, and then used the spray hose to see the results.

FWIW, the temperature was approximately 60* and not long after I waxed, there was a rain shower and I was able to clearly see the difference.

Also worth mentioning is that I ordered the Rouge Zymol because of my red paint. I'm glad I did, because with it, I no longer have to deal with white powdery wax residue that shows up in hard to reach areas. It was rather expensive but worth the price for me, and smells incredible too! :D

Yep, Zymol is all I use for wax. Using it right now on the Chevelle. Trevor

Not saying anything about any of those products due to not ever using them, but the only thing I have used on my Harleys' JEEP's, and soon to see how she brings some life to the 67' is the stuff from C.A.R. products inc ( I have zero affiliation to them). Although that Zymol stuff looks pretty darn nice

Brad- Check out autopia.org- Great website for ultra car detailing. They compare all detailing products. There are so many articles about detailing. Alot of controversies.

Your truck looks great.

Great write up Brad!

It's amazing how until you do a side by side comparison, you never really know how well a product works.

yup, i've always used Zymol wax/cleaner since my first car, its a light blue liquid wax in a clear bottle with a white cap.the local auto part stores sell it. smells really good too. i always do a test spot on my friends cars to sell them on it LOL. it instantly makes a noticable diff.
