I'm looking for what brand or make these tires are, or anything that would be the closest to it?

Looks like a standard 1970 grille insert and wheel trim rings to me.

There's a recent thread on here about skinny off-road tires in the 4x4 section with some similar looking treads.

Goodyear Suburbanite's by the looks of things, that is what is on my 67' although they are dry rotted pretty bad and are not staying.

Those are most likely bias ply Armstrong's, mounted on split rims.
My burb ran those for most of it's life till they stopped making them.

This is the closest thing I have found to the Armstrong.

It's been many many years, but I agree, those look like Armstrongs to me.

The first thing I did when I bought my truck in 1977 was drive it to a tire shop and trade the new highway tires (what was the dealership thinking?) for new 7.50-16 Armstrong 8PR traction tires.

I had split rims, and the guy changing the tires did okay but it was not his area of expertise. One tire refused to balance, and he finally tore it down. He had left the new liner folded up inside the tire... After fixing that little issue, he thanked me for my business and asked me to please not come back as long as I owned those wheels. :D

you'd be real lucky to find a tire shop now that 1. knows what a split rim is, and 2. would accept to change one if they did! I knew a guy years back to blew half of his face off with one of those deadly rims.

however, they are cool!

 Growing up, there was a Firestone tire shop in town. They HATED working on the burbs split wheels, though they were equipped to do it but it took half or more of the day to do all four. I remember it was like a special day, since the shop required my Dad to make an appointment to do tire work.

It was always an interesting visit for me as a kid, since my Dad and I would always stand out side the garage as they would beat on those rims with a sledge like pick hammer in a chain link cage.

I still have all of those wheels...

I've seen quite a few split rims / lock ring wheels changed on a concrete floor, no cage. Dunno if it's just because safety wasn't thought about all that much, or because those guys did it every day...

Definitely split rims like others have said. Also, try NebraskaTire for retro looking tires, as they have good deals on them. Trevor

Re: What brand of tires are these?

Yeah Nebraska Tire has some Cooper 7.50-16s that look like those. If I were going to try and find a place to work on split wheels, I would probably start at a tire shop that does a lot of work on heavy trucks.
