My Return Project
its been awhile since ive been on here. I found this one by chance since the previous owner had a weird title on his ad on craigslist. In the end i got what i feel to be a good deal. He sold it to me for 500 bucks and even dropped it off at my work not far from my house.
Heres how it looked the day i got it. Its a '84 swb sport. (i dont know what makes it a sport though) http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1.../Photo0212.jpg Now to start out the topper will be taken off and sold to buy new parts. The running boards will be coming off too since they caused plenty of rust to the rocker panels. Someone also built wooden storage compartments in the bed that will be coming out when the topper comes off. The guy was pretty proud of the speakers that he put in in the foot wells and jammed behind the seat. I looked at the speakers and found that they are home stereo speakers... They will be pulled out too.. Im sure once I get this stuff taken care of ill get down to what needs to be fixed. The plan is to do a static drop so i can still use the truck as a truck. More pictures are to come, lots and lots of pictures to follow. |
Re: My Return Project
pulled off some junk today. went to take the wooden storage boxes out of the bed and found that they are bolted to the wheel tubs and the wood floor is riveted to the bed...
