NOS - 63 C/10 body side mldg - fender spears (2)
 

Have 2 spears NOS part # 3817202 that mount on the front of both LT & RT fenders. Almost certain these interchange between sides, no LT & RT part numbers. What are these worth? Thanks

Im speaking for myself but for trim, since its being repo'd, woulndnt get much more than repo price.

those are 62-66 left or right (interchangeable)
lmc truck lists them at 15.00 each for repro.

Repo does not = NOS GM. Not asking for repop prices here. Come on guys, anyone that has dealt with aftermarket versus the real deal knows the difference. Sharpie

Good point Joemomma, but you don't notice much difference in trim? The 67-72 stuff is way better in NOS form in my opinion. Sharpie

Repo is never gonna be a good as oem but for trim its not that important to me. For me its good enough, but thats just me.

If he really wants to know the true value , just list them on ebay:lol:
of course it would suck to sell them for $7 for the pair wouldn't it.

why don't you weigh in, do you think nos is worth double ther repro price? triple?

btw, as far as I know goldenstate bought all the dies from gm for the 69-72 trim, the only one not available was the driver front fender , which was broken, they are the ones repoping them, however the metal used (china/tiwan) could be sub standard to what gm was using...., and I have not seen nos or repro in person...,just know that the dies are right!

Interesting fact about the dies. I usually figure NOS at twice repop prices, but even then NOS does not mean perfect, there are factory flaws and lots of shelf time/handling to account for. The NOS woodgrain pieces are the main 67-72 trim pieces I was thinking of. Sharpie

I guess most of my frustration with the replies to the WIW ad were the fact that most people can look up a price in an LMC catalog or on the internet, but it is harder to get an accurate value on NOS pieces. He was asking for help on NOS pieces, but I do understand the point of giving a base price for repop. Sharpie

I too agree that nos will sometimes command 2x,even 4x the price of a repop part, and ebay is a good/ bad guage, if no one wants the part, it goes dirt cheap, or dosen't sell, or sometimes there is a bidding war, and it gets way out of control:lol:

sometimes we would run into a few things with nos parts from dealers, -they were still there because they were slightly damaged, and never sold, sometimes we found the old damaged(takeoff)part in the nos box-they didn't want to throw it away, and the of course there were the good old un opened new stuff!

I think it was a major coup for seth to get those gm dies right when gm quit using them, I remember him being pretty jacked about it, it was only a few months before he sold the business to the nevada guys, I haven't worked with them since...

The only repros that are worth a damn are from Mar-K at $18.00 each. they make them. the TW ones are crap and aren't even close. I have an original pair to. not really easy to find but they show up at times.
