oil change drama is over, I LOVE this truck

I am past the oil change drama, any damage that pops up in the next 75k will be covered under warranty. So please no more discussion on that:lol:

I have to say, I LOVE this truck. I took a trip in it last weekend and put about 1000 miles on it. I am very impressed with the handling, power, comfort and the mileage of the 4.8. My impression so far is that chevy got it right with the latest gen of trucks.

I think I do need to swap the 3.32 rear gears for some 3.73's or maybe even 4.10's. With all of our hills I may even gain a mile or two per gallon.

The crew cab has an insane amount of room in it. My daughter's favorite feature the nine 9 cup holders.

I liked my mustang that I traded in, but I am so much happier (so far) driving a full sized truck again.

Good to hear you like the truck. I have test driven almost all the new model trucks including the GMC Denali. I plan on buying one when my 97 gets put to pasture.

Cool, they are very nice trucks. Comfortable and quiet. I'm going for the 4.10's when I do it. The 3.23's and my tires just don't mix and the mileage is bad. 4.10's will compensate for the low end that the 4.8 is missing. I tow a car here and there and it definitely could use a bit more.

Got any pics?
