Front Sway bar on 67 c10 bagged?

I am thinking about going to junk yard and pulling one off of a 73+ chevy truck but I'm wondering if when I slam it, won't it hit the ground? I saw the brackets that are made for trucks that are lowered, but what about trucks that are slammed? Also, can someone tell me some shocks that would work on a bagged truck? Thanks guys.

Look for a 73+ C20 truck or Burb to get the HD bar. If your going really low, you can bolt the bushing clamps directly to the frame. Unless your running a sectioned cross-member, clearance won't be an issue. Your A-arms will hit the ground before the sway bar does.

Thanks trux, you don't happen to know what type of shocks will work well do you?

I not much of a shock guru. Scoti or Lolife99 can better answer that question.
