My 49 starting to come together

Thought I'd share a picture with everyone to show my support of the brotherhood.:metal:

Still tons of things to do but gives an idea of where the project is going.

I'm still waiting for my drop spindles which I bought from an EBay store and it will have been 1 month this weekend that I am waiting for them.

Nice looking truck

Watch the time on the ebay stuff. Make sure you put a claim in before the time expires. Think its 45 days.

That's gonna be sweet!

Sucks ordering parts from the states, did you get a tracking number? I'm a looong way from the border but I usually try to have a number of items shipped to a border town on the U.S. side and make a trip to pick it up every once in a while. Means I have to plan ahead some but it usually works out better.

Good point on the time limit. I do not have a tracking # but the seller has a pretty good rating. I sent the seller an email just now so I will wait to see their response. Worse part is I could have bought a set here for the same price it is ending up costing me.:waah:

Another thing to make sure with Ebay is to make all contact with the seller/buyer through Ebay messages. This way when/if you put a claim in they can see everything that has gone back and forth.
Project is looking good.

I was told there is no drop spindles for the stock axle. Where did you find them?

for what stock axle? i know speedway motors sells drop axles for AD trucks.

i was joking asking if he needs drop spindles since its so low already as he said in his first post that hes waiting for his drop spindles.
