a friend of mine just picked up a 77 sub. we want to lay it out. i aldready noe hoe to do the front but how do you guys get the rear that low with out cutting into the floor of the truck. will a mini notch get us that far or do we havce to do the monster notch? thanks for the help JOE

this is as low as you can go without cutting the floor, cutting is the only way to get it to layout

On your build site you said you chopped the crossmember,what is that and did you do it with the engine in etc

here is a pic of the chop so you can see it better, your engine does not move, just your a-arms move up.

Can you do this to a truck crossmember ? are they the same ? I really wish I didnt throw my spare in the scrap heap.
