Core support swap

Searched and didn't find this question based on the years that I am interested in. Does anyone know how much difference there is between an 89-91 dual headlight core support, and either an 81-82 dual or an 83-88 dual headlight core support?
I would like to be able to just swap the cores and the lights, and not have to do the entire front clip. As of right now my current grille and headlight surrounds are trash, and I figure now would be the time to look into switching the core over the the stacked headlight(which I myself like better)instead of the side by side style.

Edit: figured I'd toss in the 89-91 single light support too...I am pretty sure this one would mount right up, would it not? Especially because I doubt Chevy spent the money to the fenders and core supports attachment any different.

Re: Core support swap

Basically its just the arrangement of the lights and how they mount to the core you would need the whole front clip minus fenders and hood (they are the same)

That's exactly what I was hoping it would be! Thanks!

It's not a really hard swap to do, you don't even need to take the fenders off. Make sure you get the light harness if you are going with the dual light front end; you may have to splice some wires too. Not too bad, as the colors stay the same.
