Re: Cleaning leather seats
Ivory dish washing soap and warm water. For stubborn areas, use a soft bristle toothbrush in small circular motion. This comes from working in a high end furniture store and manufactures of leather furniture.

Re: Cleaning leather seats
profe56, it depends on what you mean by "clean up leather seats". If you are talking actual cleaning it will depend or what is dirtying them up and how the leather was dyed. There are a lot of cleaning options but always try any cleaning on an inconspicuous area before trying the visible areas. On the other hand if you are talking about conditioning (keeping leather supple and looking good) that will depend on the condition of the leather. For instance the auto wipes mentioned above (non-silicone) work well for regular care but aren't really suited for deep conditioning, which there are products for too.
So I guess the questions are, what are you looking to do and what is the condition of the seats? |

Thank you Guys for all your suggestions and experience you are sharing.
I recently swap a pair of black leather seats from BMW and they're in not in excellent but in a good condition. I think is a good idea working in inconspicuous areas with the 4 different sugestions on next weekend. |
Re: Cleaning leather seats
I use armor all leather cleaner for our boats and vehicals, i spray it on heavy and use a soft brush and scrub them for a little bit then wipe them off, cleans them up very well, at least for me.
