Pics of my new burb
I have made a deal with the owner and will soon be taking her home.I need to find a good engine and trans for it,but that should not be a big deal.Hope yall enjoy Oh ya.....Im getting it for $600!:chevy:
http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1300425433 http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1300425433 It has Arizona radio station stickers in the cab so I think it may have came from there. The interior is very nice and original. The core support has no rot and the only place i saw rust all the way thru was just behind each rear wheel. This is going to make a nice work truck for me,and the boy will love it too :metal: |

Re: Pics of my new burb
That thing is sweet! I'm jealous, I always wanted a factory blue or red 71-72 burb. Please don't tell me it also had parchment trim? Good luck with the build, I got my 72' burb out of Austin.

Definately interested in more pics! That dark tinting helped big time. Sounds like it was a Custom Deluxe with the upper and lower chrome trim and cloth interior. Very nice!

Re: Pics of my new burb
Monster transmissions has a $99 elect control for the trans that is a snap to install. Worst case for the engine is to put a carb on it and you will probably need an inline fuel pump as there is no mechanical boss in your engine casting. If you could use your computer, I would try to keep it fuel injected.

Re: Pics of my new burb
Thanks for the info, that helps tremendously not having to get another trans and I'm going to do some more research on how to go about keeping the fuel injection.I love this site, good ppl helping others with the same goal in mind.I myself, am always willing to lend a helping hand. Thanks again, yall be good:chevy:
