end of tour
 
i recently just finished a 5 and a half year tour onboard uss wyoming ssbn. left behind some good friends ill never forget. any who. they gave me this. i thought yall would like it.

That is very cool, and I'm sure will continue to mean a great deal to you as time passes. When I left Peterbilt in 1978, the girls that worked for me gave me this 1960 Valiant model and I still treasure it today. They didn't sign it, but knew it was something special that would remind me of them.

yeah i really like it alot. in the past ive seen other divisions give generic things like watches and a picture of the submarine. woopdee doo. now i did get a watch and a picture as well. and i like them too but the truck is my favorite. they were payin attention with that. ill have it till the day i die for sure

HAHAHA!!! Awesome!! Are you still in or did you get out? I'm a Nuke MMC surface guy (don't hold it against me). However, I was on the USS ENTERPRISE which breaks ALL OF THE TIME so I have done plenty of wrenchin'.

What is your last name? One of the guys in my office recently left the Wyoming (EM1 Parrish). I showed him this and he recognized some of the names on the truck.

im still in right now. just headin to shore duty. my last name is Ostrander. yeah i know parrish. he was on the boat with me a couple years ago. and i wont hold that nuke stuff against you. besides its all different between surface and submerged. you still in?
