Trucks and extras for sale

One price takes all. I will not be parting anything out.

Last week my house burnt to the ground. Fortunately, nobody was home and the only casualties were my fish and my tools. You never realize how many tools you acquire over the years until you have to replace them, but I digress.

It will be at least 12 months before I can get back into the hobby and could use the extra cash when building our new home.

I would like $2000 for the following, but any serious offers will be considered.

1972 Chevy C10, 350, auto, AC, PS, PB, posi, leaf springs, 15x8 rally wheels with good rubber. Title was lost in the fire, but I can get another one.

1970 GMC C10, 350, auto, hei, PS, PB, leaf springs, upper and lower trim. Have title.

Extras:
1 or 2 radio delete plates with clips
2 or 3 bed side patch panels
Two sets of rally wheels; 15x8 6 lug with caps and some rings, 15x7 5 lug (no caps or rings)
rear slider window (black frame)
and any other odds and ends that happen to be in the barn related to 67 to 72 trucks.

I am sorry I don't have photos, but the digital camera was lost as well.

I will check the board when I have access to the web, but right now I am trying to get my family settled into temporary living. If you have questions, give me a call @ 913-486-6917. This is my cell phone.

Thanks,

Scott

Sorry to hear about your loss! Glad no one was hurt.

LOHRTBT 04-02-2003 04:19 PM

You want 2000 for all of that??? Do the trucks run?

I am going to call you in about 20 min...it might be sold. ;)

fishead 04-02-2003 04:25 PM

Do the trucks run?

Yes they both run.

The GMC is driven at least once a week by my brother in law, and the green truck is driven around our property.

LOHRTBT 04-02-2003 04:31 PM

Could you do me a favor??? see if there is any way possible that someone locally can take a few digipics of them for me/??

I am seriously considering picking them up from you. :) Are the bodies decent??

fishead 04-02-2003 04:46 PM

I would say typical midwest rust.

I was looking at the truck Joesjunk has posted and would say they are at least that good if not better. These are not show trucks by any means, but they work well to go fishing or to the hardware store.

The fenders don't flap when you go down the highway or anything like that.

I've never posted pics before so I may need help.

man fishead I am sorry to hear about that. that has to be a tough thing to recover from. I will keep you and your family in my prayers as I can't buy any of the stuff from you, but I know that will help. good luck and try to keep your chin up.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. We are doing fine and should be out of my in-laws house next week, and into short-term living until we can rebuild.

The kids must think it is Christmas since they are getting new underware, socks and some toys.

Joe, thank you for vouching for my character. I guess I won't be needing that grill guard anymore ;-)

I don't have any photos yet, but should be able to get some over the weekend and send them out next week.

Thanks again,

Scott
