How hard is it to install a transbrake and what is involved? do i need to take the tranny apart?

Yes, it needs to come apart. The actual valvebody that is the brake bolts up from the bottom like any other valvebody. But there internal mods that needs to be done. I think some Sportsman brakes you actually 'can' just bolt it up and go (in some TH350's I think). But if you don't build the trans to take the the abuse of locking it in low and reverse at the same time, and matting the throttle of a high HP motor,,, she isn't going to last very long!

better let the tranny shop guys handle it, you drill the wrong hole in the valve body which there is a few ,you can buy the tranny built for about 1500
i cant wait to play with mine
