well wut tha heck im doing it...................couple thing i wanna say bout my project.......

its my first pick up im not a builder im in fact a union carpenter and had minimal welding experience.......bought the truck on impulse and like i said had no american car (or old car for that matter) experiense but it was well as many of you know I HAD TO HAVE IT...................

got lucky it was well running, had 350 and 4spd 2wd lwb 16x8 aluminum wheels, seat covered with some rags and showed the usual wear.......for the next part im sorry but words gonna have to do......

total farm truck :gmc2: from the cab forward color navy blue with silver stripe (bout 20") down the middle and the bed :chevy: navy blue with white stripe (bout 16") on bottom.......well you get the pic......

so home she came and well got crazy and with very little knowlage and some borrowed tools....off came the front springs and started hackin not quite sure how much but i achived wut i was lookin for..then well wasnt sure how to bring the tail down....some lookin at it and well crazy i went....fliped the axel(may i add 2 years ago i was nowhere near this very helpful site)... then well off came the sander, rughed up the paint and spayed flat black(cup gun not rattle) been rockin it like that since....

started lookin into junkyards on and off with out really a clue or plan i knew i wanted disc brakes in front (again had little clue on how to but an idea its all i need) well no brakes yet but came across my bench seat...then my gas pedal then tail gate(not instaled yet but have it)then my rallys 8" ........

well now the little confidence i had has been shattered (in a good way) by all the great builds in the site. well intimidated and all went to reading and reading and reading some more and well not to say they the best quality tools but got a small wellder and grinder and ...well tools i dont usually need as a carpenter..then well getting my hands durty welding every chance i get at work building random things at home even tried my hand at aluminum welding (now im not sayin im a pro but have come long ways) even took classes the union had on the subject.....

now my plans before winter are ..... gettin shorty  and well i have no shop or garage so it will have to do for the year but i will have few mounths to browse and learn more..............

NO NEED FOR BASHIN...IM JUST A JUNKER TRYING TO MAKE IT IN THE WELL EVOLVED BUILDING WORLD...

now some pic in no particular order...........stay tuned
