Anyone got steel rear bumpers with the dealer name stamped in it.
 

I've seen a lot of steel bumpers but never hardly see any with the dealer name stamped in it. My dads 70 he had had the original one but he sold it a long time ago and my 70 gmc still has it's. Would like to find one from here in Missouri for my truck.

i've seen a few over the years. it seemed more of a regional thing than really all that widespread thruout the country// some were stamped in like you pictured but some i've seen were drawn on with a bead of weld

I've got one just like the pic, it's from Arkansas maybe even Batesville or Harrison...not sure but if you make it to Nevada, MO you can have it cheap. I haven't looked at it in years, from what I recall it's in similar shape.

It's in my folks barn in Nevada. If you can wait awhile I could have Dad bring it sometime to Nixa.

I can't say for sure its a dealer name on the left, but I think mine has Austin, TX on the right side...

Looks like a cool bumper. I have a similar one but it does not have a name on it.

If I had the room I would start a bumper collection, but since I only have the one it is ok for now.

Id like to stamp one with my last name and Chevrolet next to it, kinda like being my own dealership. Or maybe stamp 67-72chevytrucks.com on one.

Remember my dad having one from Truman-Baker in Searcy, Arkansas. Love to have that for my 68 now.

I have a 1964 Chevy long bed and it has one of those bumpers, i think many came from Texas, it says something xxx Brothers on the back and it says the name of the town in Texas that its from.

I recently bought a parts truck and it has one of these on it. It's a Texas dealership but I live in PA so this truck has seen the USA I guess. :D

Too bad mine is rotted on the top or I'd be selling it.

I was told these were actually aftermarket bumpers the dealers bought and put on if the customer requested. Also told many trucks didn't have a rear bumper from the factory and this is why they would add these.

This is the first one here in PA that I seen. It must not have been done here or at least, not often.
