It took me some time, but I just finished my 1949 truck build slide show with helpful information through photo bucket. I provided one picture of the 1954 Chevy 235 motor to give you an idea of the quality of my build.

These are some trucks that I am getting some ideas from. I most likely will purchase the rims and tires like the ones from the green truck.

love the motor. how does it compare to building a sbc price wise? how hard are parts to find? good start can't wait to see this one done.

For the love of God man you need to you need to warn ppl before they look at your build to put on some welding goggles or something. That thing is shiney!!!

That engine is a work of art. I don't know why more people aren't running that setup.

Swizzlestick,

It was pricey. Let’s just say I could have purchased a LS1 or a Corvette Motor for less. Parts aren’t hard to find due to the internet. Check out my photo bucket link for all the part info. I provide websites, description of parts, and phone numbers.

These almost worked. The wire are 7mm and the wire looms are 8mm. Too tight of a fit. Will have to make new ones with a 9mm.

Did you build the radiator core support or did that come with the frame you purchased?
