project "revival"

So as some may or may not know, I have decided to do a motor swap from my current truck into a 199x (sorry not sure what year i believe 93) chevy scottsdale k1500 ext cab longbed. so i figured I'd try out making a build thread.

background of the truck, truck was purchased new in 199(3) in Atlanta GA. area. shortly after it made the trip to AK. In 95 it was in an accident destroying the bed. It sat in a garage for the next year then the guy I bought it from bought it. and had planned on doing a resto, plans changed and it became a plow truck in 97, it continued working until January 2012 when the axle bearing went out, locking up the right rear wheel. it was then parked in a snowbank until the 18th of Feb 2012 when i went to look at it and ended up buying it over the phone the next day for a mear $250.

199(3) chevy ext cab long bed 305 unknown transmition (it is auto if anyone can help me out with that.) right at 50k miles on this truck.
i'll get pics up on friday when i go pick up the truck. (It's about 80 miles from me)

sorry, had a blizzard blow through yesterday, supposed to have 14 inches of snow by the end of tomarrow. however, come hell or high water... or snow. I am dragging it home tomarrow.

high, snow was an understatement. I got 4 miles out of town, and had to turn back. there was litterally 2 feet of snow accross the highway. I felt like i was driving one of those "belly dragger" construction trucks with how much snow the trailer was plowing. I hope to make another try in the next couple days. tomarrow I'm back to work tearing down my 89.
