How did you run your exhaust out the back?

I need some pics of how people have run dual exhaust and how they exit out the back. I am going to get 2-1/2" pipe run to headers and have some concerns about sucking exhaust back into the truck. The shop that is going to do it says anytime he does a Blazer, Tahoe or Suburban he has problems with people complaining about the exhaust smell when he runs them straight out the back. I have also experienced this and don't want to deal with it. That is what I had planned to do, so now I may angle them down and out a little in the coners of the back of the truck. Just wanted to see some pictures of different options. Thanks

you could have them bend outward like on the newer pickups. I have mine dump right after the muffler with turn downs and i never really had any problem with exhaust smell.

I have mine out the side and seem to have no issues.

I don't really want to dump them out underneath, I will probobly do something like Yukon Jacks maybe angled down a little bit more. I have not bought any exhaust work for a few years, kinda pricey. $400.00-$450.00 with Magnaflow or Flowmaster mufflers. He preffered Magnaflow, said they didn't resonate inside the truck as much. Of course I will probably never put my top back on again anyway!

My dual exhaust is like this also and I don't get any blowback inside.

i just like the more agressive sound with them dumping underneith, other wise i wouldve gone straight out the back kinda like the hemi pickups or to the side like the pictures here. but i have magnaflows on mine and they sounds cleaner imo

I may do that, it's cheaper ! I will decide when it's on the rack. Thanks for the opinion on the Magnaflows, thats what he thought also.

Here is how mine is done. Don't know about fumes though, I never drive with the back window open.
Magnaflow is a good mellow muffler. I use Pypes on mine, also a mellow muffler if you get their street pro, all made of stainless too, and they are about $30 a piece cheaper than Magnaflows. I actually run the Race Pro Pypes on my blazer and Ventura, and Street Pro's on my pickup truck.

I like how the exhaust on the Drunkbus looks, I will probably do something like that. Thanks
