1970 "original" build
Hey all! My name is Arlis, and I bought a yellow c-10 a few months ago. It's got a new 350/3 on the tree. So far I've put a new starter in it and cleaned up someone else's attempt to "modify" the wiring harness...

I'm going to paint it tomorrow... So I'm gonna paint it silver... Also as you may note in one of the interior pics I need a new shifter housing...the previous owner broke it off for me...Anyone have one for sale???? Not sure how fast this will go, I'll be working on the build a few hours a day... Cool truck and Welcome to the board I work in Norman, OK. Is that a 3 on the tree shifter? If it is I have one I can give you for $free. Gotta love POs. Then again I understand how it happened after I have gotten pissed and man handled my old 3 on the tree;) PS I think you have to be a supporting member to buy/sell through the board. That is considered a "want to buy ad". Later

Thanks 67c10...I'm not moved to Norman yet, still trying to find a house, but I'll be passing through this weekend, maybe I can meet up with you Sunday afternoon...not sure how to "direct message" you...I'm still figuring out this forum. I did some more work today, will post pictures tonight!

Well yesterday I got quite a bit done, prepped the safety bumper for rust killer and paint, pulled the seat and everything bolted to the floor, and started grinding away. I'm gonna order rockers and patch a few holes this week.

Ahhhh rust! that's typical. Hey you can pick up some rockers at classic auto on 89th and I35 on the okc/moore border. Save on shipping them from elsewhere anyway. Looking good buddy!

Late Welcome to the board and Nice project. Another Oklahoma project too. Careful now, you would be suprise how tweaking a few things here and there turn into a frame off.......Kidding but I started off building a driver and my build is almost 3 years old. Hope to see it in person some day.

Today's progress:

Today: I sanded and hammered out some dents I the front fenders, sanded the hood, took off the radiator support and grille, sanded the firewall, started cleaning all the crud from the suspension and frame, painted the gauge cluster parts. Right now I'm rebuilding the heater core box. Does anyone know if your can have a heater core repaired like a radiator???
