1970 LWB project
Hello from NC. I have been reading hard here for a few weeks and have decided to post my new project. If I hadn't found this site, I might have passed on this purchase. My objective is just a nice driver. I also have an interesting story that goes with the truck. I bought this truck 2 years ago from a co-worker for $800.
Later I sold the camper then sold the truck. Move ahead to a couple weeks back. The guy I sold it to asked me if I wanted to buy it back. He had taken it home and parked in the yard, where is has sat for 2 years. He started it up 2 or 3 times and moved it in his yard in those 2 years. So, here I am with it again. Fate? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...in/vininfo.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...n/glovebox.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk7.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/dbracin/trk4.jpg The original PO added a factory tilt wheel, factory air, buddy bucket seats and tach, just to name a few things. So, looks like I've got lots to work with. |
