Re: Sticky wheelbarrow
Drive it and wipe your hands on your pants. It is just the plasic outgassing. Any cleaner should take it off.

Anything to make it quit for good I thought I heard somewhere to wipe it with alcohol or something but don't remember figured I would ask about it here

Re: Sticky wheelbarrow
is it a cool looking steering wheel that you can't let go of? it sounds like a problem that would always return. i would buy a new one.

Re: Sticky wheelbarrow
All the factory plastic wheels do that. As you drive, you naturally wipe it down. If you leave one sit for awhile, the stuff accumulates and gets sticky. No, it won't really stop, it just out gasses less and less. Dash pads do the same thing. A lot of the stuff you wipe off the windshield is from the dash pad. Its just part of the joy of having older trucks.
