Anyone know what make the A-pillar grab handles are in the 70 k20 truck featured in the August Off Road magazine issue? I noticed them and like them. And I am in the market for Grab hanbles\bars.

Thanks
jeff

This one?

They look custom. Just a piece of tube bent with a mount on each end.

Yes, that one. Yea, could be custom. I hope not, I've been looking around on internet for grabs then saw those and I have not really located anything similar on my searches.
:chevy:
Thanks,
jeff

I actually had these made so my wife could get into the truck.

Gerfunken, nice Handles. Thanks for the reply. Since I have minimal facilities for fabricating. Here's my solution. For anyone who is interested.

Bought a couple of these. I bought them at the turck stop near my house. http://greatamericanchromeshop.com/s...dle-p-128.html

Cut some mountain bike handle grips and slid them on.
Ground down ends and drilled two verticle holes closer to bend. Bent the ends to less severe angle. They come at about a 45. Drilled and set with 3/4" #14 sheetmetal screews. In the future I want to make sime cool custom ones. But for now: Get in hang on and SHUT UP... eeeehaw.

I gotta admit i think this is a good idea, especially for us old type LOL! I admittedly pull pretty hard on my steering wheel every time i climb up into my truck.

I used some from a forklift. I need to find something nicer though.

I have not seen this article before. What an awesome truck and great ideas here for some handles!
