I found a thread discussing two tone paint schemes on the pickup trucks. I'd like to see 2 tone Suburbans & Tahoes. Factory stock to wildly customized and anything in between. :blz: Show us what ya got!

I would like to see paint examples too....

I will be repainting my 2500 SLE scheme, after getting factory flares, but have not decided how to paint the flares yet.

Yeah, my 97 Tahoe was black and tan below the trim. Didn't really care for it that much.

Thanks for the factory example Ackattack.

As for custom schemes, I favor the darker color on top with lighter color on bottom with the break between the door handles and windows. Here are a few examples of dark/light, light/dark, and the white with blue top & hood ~ is that a factory 2 tone?

Nice examples..... I am glad to see the metallic brown / champagne scheme, sorta like my OEM colors on my Sierra. It gives me something to consider....

O.K., ..you painters out there..... What sort of money are we talking about, to do a 2-tone ? A 'reasonable' cost to repaint? Figuring the owner removes the lights, etc? Maybe a thin stripe between colors?

I actually thought of wrapping my truck with a solid color?

Painted grille, bumpers, & handles, the impact strip has been removed. It looks good! Even with stock headlights & parking light lenses it looks nice!

my wifes 99 tahoe before and after a few changes i made.she loves it!! im not done either! gonna paint grill and put painted bumpers on it!! got to keep momma happy!!
