updater so I bought the radio I posted the link to up above and had nothing but problems. The one they sent me was Dead On Arrival and I found that out after I hooked it up because they sent this list that says "we have checked the radio for blah blah blah":whine: Then after I mailed it back they sent me the same broken one with a new wiring harness after I wrote down HEAD UNIT IS DEFECTIVE but no they would not listen. so after spending countless ours of tiring to get a radio I still don"t have one. DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO

Thanks for the information. Is this radio you purchased made by Vintage Radio like the one in the link I posted or is it made by another company? Thanks.

Re: Anyone Used This Radio?

ok I have found out what my problem with the radio was I had to wires from the truck that the insulation had fallen off of (after 40 years) and it was touching another wire which fried the first radio. The second radio was a problem with my wiring job and not the radio. after I ran the new wires again it worked. on a scale of 1-5 I give this radio a 3.5 just because it looks a little cheap and plastic (which it is). I am happy with this radio now yes it does not look factory but if you dont want to cut your dash and dont want to spend $600 on a factory one its a decent radio.

it was made by custom autosound

Here it is installed. Has a tape deck fits in the factory opening not a real big performer but def gets the job done and looks decent doing it. I got mine from green's in Cameron tx 254-697-4304. (Larry Green) the radio is classic car audio by ken Harrison
