Subscribed.....Looks like a good start to me!

I am getting ready for a similar journey, I picked up a 69 SWB frame a while back for a buddy who has since lost interest and now it's sitting in the corner of the shop and I am planning the build...

Kyle's company, Laid Back Recreations (aka LBR) is going to be doing most of the work on this project since I lack the time, space and talent to do this thing myself. He will be doing all the fabrication, paint and body on this one.

Great to have you Mike. :lol: This is going to be a fun one, it's going to have some of the same DNA as Square Peg.


The others are still around, but by the time Kyle gets this one done I might have Tom's battery box installed. This one is going to move pretty fast, in spite of the fact I have some big decisions to make on it yet.

A few items to start filling in the gaps...

The brown truck dropped off 13 packages. The wife sent me this picture along with a snide comment about not being able to get out the door. Needless to say, a discussion ensued about wtf is all this crap for?

Every order Scott's does is made to spec. Justin asked a lot of questions about what I expected the truck to do, what kind of stance I was looking for, etc. After I came to the conclusion I would actually be driving the truck and expecting it to carve some corners, I decided to use his bolt in IFS with the coil over set up.

These pictures actually came from his shop. They completely assemble everything to make sure it goes together before they ship it out.

Thanks! Kyle (screaminchevypickup) is a super talented guy that is the most well rounded individual I've ever met when it comes to restoring these trucks. He paints, he fabricates, he does mechanical stuff - no need to farm anything out, he's truly a one stop shop.

I told him what I wanted to do and he bought right into it.

Fasten your seatbelts, cause he don't mess around. :)
