P30 step van to 4x4 driveline

Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated. This is gonna be a challenge. My big plan is to lift the Van body off it's original drive line and drop it on something similar in the picture posted (Newer 4x4 drive line). The Van driveline is a 133" wheelbase so it's pretty common as far as that goes but I definitely see some customizations in my near future. My biggest worry is that the new drive line won't be able to handle the weight of the van body.
Any thoughts?:metal:

The hardest part will be the electronics/computer/dash.

Yeah I agree. My plan is to use all the wiring ,electronics,Steering wheel, dashboard and everything else. It'll pretty much be a Chevy/gmc pickup in disguise...lol. Definitely more roomy:c2:

Is that a 5500? If so it would have to hold the weight because we use brand spanking new F-550s :waah: and 5500 rams and we put large drills on them that i don't see how could weigh less than that van body

On Ebay a while back there was a NAPCO 4x4 P30 van. It had been used by film crews as a support truck. Not really an answer to your question, but the conversion has been done before, at least by NAPCO.

Here is a picture of a 2013 F-550 with a 1900+ lb bed plus a 2200+ lb drill as you can see there is no sag and its still sits correctly *Higher in the rear*, we also did a 2013 ram 5500 but i think it sat basically level i'll have to check again but it might of got picked up. So if the van body weighs somewhere within the.... 41-4500lb range i think you'll be fine on a 5500 setup but that's also all the weight on the rear so the van body will be spread to the front as well but i still think it would be okay. We haven't had any silverado's in basically ever so i couldn't tell you about them but i can only assume there all about the same

The fords look real nice. I think I'm steering toward the Chevy/GMC driveline though. I love the Duramax/Allison combo setup. Pretty much bulletproof...(and pricey :( )
Still trying to build up the old bank account. :/
