So I took a couple of pics of what I am starting with. I just couldn't resist this deal for a regular cab knowing I had a bed in my inventory at home just sitting there. $100.00 for the frame & cab that someone had started customizing already. It was 1 day from going to the dump. The guy also had the rear monstor notch & 4 link w/ bags he sold me for $400.00 that were close to new. He had parts from an escalade/denalli for the front end I scored really cheap (radiator support, hood & front fenders) $60.00. All this was my first purchase on this project & the pics kinda show what I am starting with.

This is the color I am going with...2009 corvette cyber gray metallix. Bought enough paint to cover the doors, jambs & firewall right now. Working on bodywork right now. Also, powerwashed the entire truck inside & out to see what exactly we are working with. Will post pics tommorrow.

a few more pics of progress made.

hope to get the rear end & 4 link set this weekend but...lots of storm damage here to clean up and it might eat up my time to complete this task this weekend, we will see.

Definitely subbed for this one. Always nice to see one get saved from being turned into Mountain Dew cans.

Updates, it's been raining so much around here that me and my buddy actually got some time to spend on the truck. Man is this thing low!

Cst69, do you have any plans for the old fenders/hood/front clip? If not, let's discuss.

Re: Project "Dark Knight"

Yes, cyber gray metalix. Not a very good picture and I am sure the big panels will show the color off a little better. Thanks for asking.
