Decided yet undecided

I have decided to do a LS swap however am undecided on which ls motor to go with. That being said there are some accessories needed to work with my chassis like oil pan and headers. If I read ls info right the bottom ends are physically the same except bore etc. That being said if I go ahead and get the pan and headers will they fit on any ls I choose? I'm leaning towards a 5.3 or a 6.0 if that makes a difference.

I have the PB drop member and they suggest the fbody pan.

I know the f-body pan fits the 4.8/5.3/6.0 truck motors and pretty sure it fits the ls2, ls3 motors as well. I'm sure somebody more knowledgeable about the LS motors will chime in on the subject. I hope I'm correct because I have already purchased the f-body pan from Pace Performance for my dropmember equipped truck. I know you can save a little money buy looking on ebay or ls1tech.com for the pan but I went with the kit from Pace because it included everything to do the swap and is a brand new part.

I would contact Nate on what headers to run with your dropmember. If you have the extreme dropmember than I know people are having success on here with the pacesetter full lengths but I don't have a part number off hand for them.

Yes the pans and headers will fit all these engine combinations. Now for them to fit your frame and configuration I would not be sure. I used the F-body pan and got good clearance to the ground and my stock cross member.
