oil over fill,

I have a 1994 Chevy s10 blazer,
It burns out the oil, ao I have to keep up and once in a while put some oil in it,
The last time it said it had no oil pressure, I checked and there was little oiI
So I added 4quarts of oil,,,

It is my daily driver, the next week after that happened I drove it for
30 minutes staight with no stop,

When I stoped I saw smoke and I checked and it was leaking oil all the transmission and chasis was covered in oil, so I added 2 more quarts, and I went home which is 30 minutes back, I was driving in the freeway, and this time ALOT of smoke was coming from my blazer,
So I decided to stop and not drive it I had it towed home,,,,

When I stopped I noticed it leaked more oil,
I didnt get any low oil pressure light,

I got it home and I drained the oil and the oil pan I use to put the old oil in overfilled,

Thats very strange because everytime I do an oil change, I dont get too much oil,

What I think is that I overfilled my blazer and it was leaking out the overfill,
?

I looked everywhere and didnt see where it was coming from,

So I took the valvecovers and upper and lower intake out, still dont see anywhere where it could of came out?

Re: oil over fill,

Check the rear of the intake. Right where the intake meets the block wall. Factory RTV beads fail over time. Check the distributor too. Check the oil pressure sensor near the distributor. Is your PVC working properly? If the PVC does not work properly, pressure inside the engine can blow seals or push oil through the valve covers, breather, or filter.
