Youtube how to videos

I find myself looking up how to videos on youtube all the time to learn and I had an idea for a thread.

Post your favorite How to Videos for our trucks and as this thread grows I will edit this post and add a Table of Contents with links to the various pages.

I did a search and havent seen a thread like that, and thought it would be a great tool for anyone looking for a How to Video.

More of a cautionary tale of what can happen to our trucks if we don't maintain them and keep them road worthy. Of course the up side is that many of us got good parts from it before it was crushed.

There is a worry also that if the original uploaders of these vids decide to delete them from Youtube we'll have broken links.

That could happen, and Im sure it will happen from time to time. I still think this will be a useful tool.

But I did just find out I cant edit my original posts. I thought we could edit any posts that we made and thats what gave me the idea. I dont know, maybe if a mod see this they might be willing to post the link in the first post. I could send them to the mods in a Word document or something and they could just post it for us as it needs updates

This is a great idea, despite the fact that there is a time limit on editing your posts (don't know what it is.) The only other "caution" would be that since anyone can post a video to youtube, legitimacy will vary. Some "what NOT to do" are disguised as "how to"....just say'n.

When I had a paid subscription to the forum you could always edit your posts, but if memory serves a few members abused the privilege and the time limit was added.

Ive been trying for a year to get that guy to work on my truck but hes always booked and dont think he really wants to be bothered with a simple rocker panel job.

Ive been wanting be a paid member but there is only a paypal option for paying. I have a paypal account, but my card expired and last time I tried to update my card it said the card number is already in use. Which it is, but the exp date changed...lol
So as soon as that gets fixed Ill be a paid member as well.
