I can't believe GM marketed it for truck applications. It's actually an early Corvette mirror.

Edit - I should have stated "It appears to be an early Corvette mirror". Even has the same mounting bracket.

Looks very similar to the one in the 1963 Chevy truck engineer book. Inside the book a few pages is a promo pic of a 63 c-10 fleetside w/these mirrors.

Strangely close to a midyear Vette mirror, but slightly different on the back of the mirror head. As I recall, the "lump" around the ball is smaller on the vette ones.

If you look close at his pictures you see the three screws for plugging the factory mirror holes. Seen several done that way with those screws. Would be nice to find a spid sheet with these on it.
