That is sure a pain the a** for us Canucks. I see a lot of stuff I want to buy on EBay and sellers do not want the hassle of shipping to Canada. Some sellers have been burned by Canadians because if the seller ships via UPS, Fed Ex. Etal when the package arrives at your door the courier company wants Broker Fees and they can be pricey. If the buyer refuses the package it gets sent back to the seller. GMC Pauls won't ship to Canada for that very reason.

yes it is. i prefer to ship USPS. 95% of the time i have never been charged duty, & if there is duty, their broker fee is a flat $5. fed ex & ups broker fees climb up the higher priced your item is-thats bs, paperwork is the same no matter what the price. i do use a mailing address in WA, but it has to be expensive to justify the time, & gas, not some models
