Need Help with a Craftec tonneau cover
 

I'm trying to install a craftec tonneau cover and have it assembled some what. Ha the frame together however when I widen it enough for it to rest the 1/2" on the bed rail like it says it should the bows come out. Can anyone help. I don't know what needs to be done.
