1964 C10 db on 22s
3 Attachment(s)
We bought this truck from an Amish guy. We also bought a 2001 silverado from another amish guy. The 01 truck was originally going to be a body drop on 22 truck. We started at a torrid pace building a 2x4 tube frame. Corvette rear independent suspension with a cantilever set up. Air ride tech control arms. It was going great then we lost interest and family became more of a priority. Along the way dad bought this C10 I fell in love with it instantly. Fast forward 6 years and I sell my old show truck and buy both trucks from dad and have the idea of a 64 with a LS and laying body...... and go

This is the rear of our frame and one side of our cantilever. It is 28 inch longer than the 64 c10 and .5 inch narrower. Seems like an easy fir right.... ya thats what we thought to

Since we no longer have the 01 steering we neededto mate the old to thenewwhich is no prob. We used a slick column out of a 72 chevy and shortened it 8 inches jusrt for look on the inside. And it doesn't hurt when your 6'4 to have alil room

Re: 1964 C10 db on 22s
That's a beauty setup. The front will get miles o lift. I'm definatly watching this one. Love the wheels. Nothing better than tucking more than half the lug.

Re: 1964 C10 db on 22s
