1971-1972 fender "383" engine emblems
Hello all! Does anyone know if there is a company that makes custom fender emblems (the engine displacement) for a 383 -vs. 350,400 etc....? I seen a set of these on one persons truck in a you tube video, I bet they are "One-Off" though......if you know of anyone who makes these, please let me know.
Thanks! Ben Smith:metal: |

Classic Chevrolet Parts in Oklahoma City has them. I'm trying to find them on their online catalog. I've seen them in store in the front desk glass. They look real nice, but like $70-$80 though. I'll keep looking.

Can't find it in the catalog. Here's their number 405-631-4400. Its a chrome stick on emblem.

Fitz, that emblem looks nice! I also bet some Mopar restoration places would have some nice 383 badges. You would just have to look through all the different years/makes to find some good looking ones. I am pretty sure with as many 383 cars that they made there is a set of emblems to be found that would look pretty good.

Maybe check Southern Kentucky Classics, when I was at their store I noticed some that were some 427 and 454 emblems.

There are alternate engine size badges made for cars of the same era to look factory. I'm pretty sure I've seen 8-383 truck badges |

"Oh lord,NO!!! Please don't put Mopar emblems on one of these trucks!!! No badge at all would be 10x cooler"
Yeah, I guess it is sort of sacrilegious isn't it, lol! |

Those cross flag style would look good on a 60-66. There are also 383 numerals that look like the 283 with a bar across the bottom. I wish the ones that someone makes had been made the same as factory with the background for the engine size machined out rather than the numbers.
Here are the car type from the same era that were made for 350 & 454 and the other I mentioned: |

The last time he posted was 2009 so unless you can find someone who has his off site contact info chances are pretty slim. You might contact Frank (Member "PICKUMUP"). He may have his contact information. I see he bought a set. LockDoc |

Check with Dieselwrencher. He has a set of custom ones on his Cummins Longhorn. Didn't ask him who made them.

69-70 B-Body mopar. Sorry if that offends, but for $30 for something that was never original to the GM truck anyway.
