Re: Gas tanks

isn't a fuel tank on a 98 made of plastic?
plenty of places to get them. I like tanks-to-pans.com

the most common brand is Spectre,(made in Canada) I think they are the OE supplier. Each time I've used their products I have no problems at all. tanks, oil pans, fuel senders, etc.

The factory tank in the 98 S10 is metal not plastic.

I put a CarQuest or NAPA tank in my 92 S10. Fitment and quality was nice.

I replaced two tanks one of my 99 Suburban, and another on a 91 Honda accord. I ordered them from ebay. fit good and haven't had a trouble yet. been over a year on the burb.

Re: Gas tanks

I used a Spectra Fuel tank and Straps with a Delphi fuel pump with sender assembly. Everything was direct bolt in and fit just like the original.
