wanna do my rocker?

1971Stepside 07-29-2003 12:13 PM

No thanks! This rocker was such a pain in the butt. Lost Wages helped me because there was no way I could squeeze the cab back together and tack the rocker at the same time. It was a bear. The drivers side went right in last night though....

I did the other side in a little different order and it seems to be much better than how I did the passenger side...

Good luck!

Speaking of taking a break, I've been on a "break" since mid April. Man, I really need to get back to it. Plus, Im using my new wheels as night stands, and my girlfriend hates it. I guess 20 inch billet wheels dont go with the decor too well.:metal:

Great Work. i really need to get my tank and helmet to start using my welder. I better hurry up and catch up. next thing you know you'll have your motor and be pulling circles on britney.

dubie 07-29-2003 03:39 PM

What order did you weld the pieces in on either side? My drivers side went smooth but the passenger side is being a biotch!!

Slammed67 07-29-2003 04:03 PM

Ah... I remember those days...... Good progress!

1971Stepside 07-29-2003 04:31 PM

On the passenger side I did it this way:

Lower front pillar
Kick Panel
Front Floor Pan
Rear Floor Support
Rear Lower Door Pillar
Rear Floor Pan
Cab Corner
Rocker
Front Floor Support

On the drivers I have done

Lower Front Pillar
Kick Panel
Front Floor Pan
Rear Floor Support
Rear Lower Door Pillar
Rocker
Rear Floor Pan
Cab Corner
Front Floor Support
