What kind of shocks??????

If I want to do a 3"5" drop what kind of shocks would I need? Best bang for buck? Remember low budget build also how long of a pan hard bar would I need?

I have heard from somebody who has done it, that you can use a stock height front shock on the rear for a lowered rig. He told me the part # for a rear drop shock was the same as the front stocker so he did it and it worked fine.
