1948 gmc c4 ifs or heidts ifs help

Hi guys I have a 1948 gmc and I m going the ifs route but don't wanna spend a ton. I would also prefer ro have it all gm but it really doesn't matter. I found the c4 kit for 850 $ and the heidts 1900 $. I simply need help deciding what to use. I am making it a daily triver and it is a 3/4 ton but I also want it semi sporty.

Remember that the C-4 kit is only the crossmember and mounting piece and you still have to buy the C-4 A arms, spindles, brakes and rack and pinion or the suggested rack and pinion.

We used a Kugel Komponents under dash master cylinder and booster, yes it has power steering....right now I am in the process of getting it hooked up. We got everything plumbed last week but have a leak that I am trying to find now. Once I get that fixed I will shoot some pictures and post them.

I just love that you put that monsterous 572 in it I love everything you guys did with it really. I am going for a high output small block naturally asperated. As it sits it is a 383 stroker with 550 horse and 600 ft lbs that my dad built in the 90s. both of ours are kinda father son projects in the fact that my dad does the wielding.

Thanks - Dan
