inside moulding

Inside windshield moulding has small metal clips between the rubber and the moulding, 5 per side per FAM. Now there do they go, next to the screw holes or some where else?
Also found small rubber pieces next to the defrost vent outlets, to help direct air flow I think, can not find in FAM, was these a PO add on? I checked with Stovebolt and no answer. HELP 53 3100 Randy

Re: inside moulding

Man, you got me wondering on this one since I haven't had my window moldings off in a long time.
The rubber pads & clips are centered between each screw mounting hole. That may be to reduce any vibrations.
Good luck
