2 Attachment(s)
I bought the basic conversion mounts, now that im looking at them it appears they can go in 3 different positions moving the motor forward or back. The mount in the picture im not sure if looks like it can also go on either side, Im temped to start with the one in the photo on the passenger side with the corner where I have the arrow pointing forward in the forward holes.Anyone thats been there and done it if you could shed some light Thanks Much jim

They mount in the forward holes , the upper forward hole is where the beveled hole mounts

Mark, I just found an old post photo enclosed ,with your mounts if Im reading this right your motor then is 3 inches forward of a stock SBC.How has that worked out for you in the front as far as spacing between the motor and radiator? I like the idea of it being forward like yours for the convenience of access to the back of the motor

Originally, I set the motor in the stock location (original holes). Once I installed the cab I didn't like the large gap between the engine and cab. So I welded up the stock holes and moved the engine back approximately 3".

Mark ,if your plates match diagram 3 on the bottom sounds like yours is in the stock location now after moving it back 3?

BTW your truck looks outstanding, nice work!! jim
